There Are Big Needs In Our Communities.

  • There are over 10,000 people in Toronto who are homeless on any given night.
  • Most people do not choose to be homeless, and the experience is generally negative, unpleasant, unhealthy, unsafe, stressful, and distressing.
  • Studies indicate that up to 67% of homeless people report having a mental illness.
  • Every year, 1 in 5 Canadians experiences a mental illness.
  • Young people aged 15 to 24 are more likely to experience mental illness than any other age group.
  • 94% of those experiencing homelessness in the Toronto area want permanent housing but face systemic or societal barriers, a lack of affordable and appropriate housing, the individual/household’s financial, mental, cognitive, behavioral, or physical challenges, and/or racism and discrimination

Our Program

  • Providing nutritious meals and provisions to those in need
  • Distributing food and school supplies through our Community Days
  • Counseling services through one-on-one interventions
  • Personal Development workshops include parenting and conflict management.
  • Sharing and Healing Circles

Never walk away from someone who deserves help;
your hand is God’s hand for that person.
