FOUNDER
Dr. Rev. Jean Henry
Dr. Rev. Jean Henry (Ph.D.) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Ontario with extensive experience counselling married couples, troubled youth, and teenagers. She is also the author of Seeing Marriage through God’s Eyes, based on her Ph.D. research.
Rev. Henry is the Founder and President of Circle of Love Community Outreach, a non-profit providing weekly free counselling for the low-income bracket, resources for the housing insecure, development workshops, and much more.
Rev. Henry also operates the nightly God-Centered Prayer Line based on her experience while visiting Israel in 2019. Most importantly, she has been the proud mother of six children and a foster parent for over two decades. When not doing ministry work, Rev. Henry enjoys reading, cooking, going for nature walks with her dog Grace, and entertaining those she loves.
VOLUNTEERS
Rose Mwinyi
Rose considers herself a child of the Most High God and a soldier in His army. Her mission is to act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with God, and be His hands and feet here on earth. She is a board member of Circle of love community Outreach and RuJohn Foundation.
She is a National Coordinator with Intercessors For Church And Nation (aka Wailing Women) She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education and Counselling. Rose is compassionate, kind, and dependable. She quietly and gently points souls to the saviour.
Aretha
Aretha provides Child and Youth support in the Durham Region and the GTA. She is a native of Scarborough and has lived in the Durham region for over 15 years now. She is a graduate of George Brown College and graduated from their Child and Youth Worker program. She has over twenty years of experience working with children and youth13- 24 in non-profit and for-profit organizations such as municipal Youth Group Homes and Boys and Girls Club of Toronto. Aretha’s purpose is to serve our community, and her passion is to create opportunities for children and youth to strive for their personal best. She enjoys photography, exercise, mentoring, and connecting with family and friends during her free time.
Susan Harris
Susan Harris, the owner of Diverse Financial Group – a financial services management company that focuses on low-income families and self-employed individuals. Since 2004, they have been focused on bringing well-needed dollars into the homes of Canadians trying to make a better life for themselves and their families.
Susan and her team, organize and prepare the books and taxes for many families, self-employed individuals, and other businesses in her community and throughout Canada. They also assist with other government filings and tax planning.
Susan is a graduate of Seneca College, Centennial College, and The University of Toronto where she has accomplished her Accounting Diploma, Bookkeeping Certificate, Income Tax Certificate, and Internal Audit Certificate. Over many years held the following positions – Financial Analyst, Trust Accountant, Tax Specialist, and Bookkeeper in both the private and public sectors where she gained many helpful nuggets to apply in her own practice.
Lastly, she is a member of many local organizations throughout the GTA but is most proud to be a part of the CVITP Program (Community Volunteer Income Tax Program) handled by CRA – The Canada Revenue Agency. This program allows individuals and families that are low income to get their taxes completed without cost and has been a part of this program for the last 10 years.
Dawn
To know Dawn is to understand that she has a love for the young, the old, and everyone in between. Her passion runs deep and her love reaches many.
Dawn has dedicated many years to being a Health Care Professional, however, her proudest accomplishment has been raising her two adult children and her teenage son. Her top priority has been instilling Godly morals to help her children become mature adults of faith. As a triple-negative breast cancer survivor, Dawn knows firsthand the power that God has when you just believe.
Dawn devotes much of her time to giving back. She also volunteers as a patient advocate and ambassador for The Olive Branch of Hope, helping women newly diagnosed with breast cancer. In addition, Dawn co-created a webpage with Women’s College Hospital called “Every Breast Counts”. In her quiet time, Dawn enjoys writing poetry, journaling, and researching to help expand her knowledge.
